• Respect client autonomy and informed consent.
• Maintain appropriate physical, emotional, financial and professional boundaries.
• Provide only services within competence and legal scope.
• Accurately represent credentials, education and experience.
• Avoid unsupported health claims and fabricated diagnoses.
• Protect confidential information appropriately.
• Refer clients to qualified professionals when needs exceed scope.
• Do not exploit trust, dependency, vulnerability, fear or illness to sell services.
• Comply with laws applicable where services are provided.
