Refund Policy
Draft effective date: September 2026. Designed for CPMW's proposed individual courses, certification programs and professional pathways.
1. Individual course purchases
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, an eligible individual course purchased directly from CPMW may be requested for refund within 30 calendar days of purchase.
2. When a refund may be limited or denied
To protect the integrity of CPMW courses and credentials, CPMW may deny or limit a refund to the extent permitted by law when one or more of the following applies:
- A substantial portion of the course has been completed, viewed, accessed, or downloaded.
- The student has completed the final examination, practicum review, capstone, teaching demonstration, or another major credential requirement.
- A CPMW certificate or professional credential has already been issued for the refunded program.
- The student has downloaded substantial proprietary course materials intended for ongoing offline use.
- The same student has repeatedly purchased and refunded courses or displays a pattern of excessive refund requests.
- The account has been suspended, restricted or terminated for violation of CPMW Terms, Academic Integrity rules, credential misuse, fraud or other abuse.
- A refund, reversal or chargeback has already been provided through a payment processor or other third party.
3. Professional Pathways and bundles
For a Complete Professional Pathway or multi-course bundle, the 30-day request period begins on the date the pathway is purchased. If a refund is approved after one or more included credentials have already been earned, CPMW may deduct the then-current individual tuition value of completed/issued components from the refundable amount, where permitted by law. Any credential tied to refunded tuition may be cancelled or marked void.
4. Upgrade credits
If a student previously purchased an eligible individual CPMW program and later upgrades to a pathway, the amount actually paid for the qualifying prior program may be credited toward the pathway under the upgrade offer in effect at that time. Upgrade credits are not cash and are not separately refundable except as required by law.
5. Subscriptions or memberships
If CPMW later offers recurring subscriptions, those plans may use separate cancellation and refund terms disclosed at checkout. Unless required by law or expressly promised in the subscription offer, recurring subscription charges should not automatically receive the same 30-day course guarantee.
6. Third-party payment platforms
Purchases processed through an app store, marketplace, financing provider, or other third party may be subject to that provider's refund process and limitations.
7. Refund method
Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method when available. CPMW may offer account credit as an alternative where appropriate and lawful.
8. Processing
Students should submit refund requests through the account purchase-history or support process identified by CPMW. Processing and posting times vary by payment provider and financial institution.
9. Abuse and credential status
A refund does not permit continued use of a credential tied to refunded tuition. CPMW may invalidate associated certificates, credential numbers, directory listings, CE records, or pathway progress as necessary to keep the registry accurate.
10. Applicable law
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Where applicable consumer law provides greater refund or cancellation rights, those rights control.
